The PAL Wrestling program is an open program to youth from Kindergarten through 8^th grade. The wrestling program is designed to encourage all youth to learn, love and excel in the sport of wrestling. Throughout the season the kids will improve their skills, increase their strength and their agility while having a fun experience. There are opportunities for kids of all ages regardless of their experience or grade level.

This program is designed for the beginner / novice in K–3^rd grade. The skills learned at this level will help the wrestler to gain confidence and ability to move on to the Travel Teams. Practices are typically twice a week. Throughout the season there are novice matches and novice tournaments that are organized for the kids to participate and are optional. For the tournaments, there is an additional cost that varies per tournament.  At these events, the kids are able to use their learned skills and the experience helps in building their confidence. Practices begin in November / December and end in mid-February with the extension of the program being our OPEN MAT at Cranford High School in the Spring/Summer of 2025. Registration for all wrestling, in and out of season, is $150.00. Singlets will be provided for use during the season. Wrestler is required to provide headgear and wrestling shoes.

The travel team program provides more advanced skills training than at the recreation level. This program is designed for all 4^th, 5^th and 6^th graders. This program may be suitable for select K-3^rd graders who have demonstrated progress at the Rec level and who display the maturity to participate in more serious structured practices and competitive matches. Practices are mandatory and are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. First practice will be in November of 2025. Time to be determined.  

Wrestlers compete on a team in the Central Jersey Youth Wrestling League. The league provides organized schedules and matches and end the season with a league tournament. Throughout the season there are several open / novice tournaments that are optional. For the tournaments, there is an additional cost that varies per tournament. Registration cost is $150.00. Singlets will be provided. Wrestler is required to provide headgear and wrestling shoes.

The middle school program is designed for 7^th-8^th graders. Practices are mandatory and are typically Monday, Wednesday and Friday. First practice will be in November of 2025. Time to be determined.

Wrestlers compete on the Middle school team in the North Jersey Youth Wrestling League. Select K-6^th graders can participate depending on the size of the roster and must have demonstrated progress at the Recreation and Travel Level and who display the maturity to participate in more serious structured practices and competitive matches.. The league provides organized schedules and matches and an end of the season league tournament. Throughout the season there are several open tournaments that are optional. For the tournaments, there is an additional cost that varies per tournament. Registration cost is $150.00. Singlets will be provided. Wrestler is required to provide headgear and wrestling shoes.
